Minneapolis, (MN) - It is with great regret that the front office of your Minnesota Snow Owls have placed possible All-Star Ryan Hanson (F) on season ending IR for an undisclosed lower body injury of a torn achilles. 

Hanson will receive surgery on Wednesday from Dr. James Andrews (probably) and will be watching the Kobe documentary on Showtime for months to learn how to rehab. His goal is to be ready for the 115th annual Sport Ngin pond hockey tournament on historic Lake Nokomis in January. 

The team will honor Hanson by wearing Minnesota Wild stickers on their helmet for the remainder of the season.
